CCP introduces new guidelines that allow developers to play EVE online with players
Dec. 17, 2019

If you remember EVE London, CCP announced that EVE's online developers will soon notice that the way they treat other players has changed. This policy change has occurred now.

The latest CCP blog post shows an updated policy that eliminates the requirement that developers remain anonymous in the sandbox. Developers can now do what they want. In addition, developers can now choose the level of anonymity they wish to maintain."This policy change is the result of multiple discussions with EVE participants at the party, proposals from the CSM and discussions within the CCP, and we believe the benefits of this change are clear: the removal of restrictions on our identity allows developers to do more. Participate fully in EVE Online to better understand the experiences and challenges that players enjoy in the game. "
